Hannah joined OHE as an Economist in September 2024. She holds an MPharm degree from the University of Nottingham and an MSc in Health Economics and Health Policy from the University of Birmingham. As a registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), she has prior experience working in NHS primary care settings.
Before joining OHE, Hannah worked as a research associate at the Manchester Centre for Health Economics (MCHE) at the University of Manchester, where she contributed as a health economist on various clinical trials, including a large, multi-national dementia trial.
Hannah has since completed her PhD at the University of Sheffield, within the Sheffield Centre for Health and Related Research (SCHARR). Her research focused on assessing health-related quality of life in dementia populations for economic evaluations. Her thesis involved a range of analytical approaches, such as psychometric evaluations and statistical mapping, with a primary emphasis on addressing inter-rater discrepancies between self- and proxy-reported health-related quality of life assessments in dementia populations.
