Yi Wang
Dr. Yi Wang is an Assistant Professor at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore. He co-directs Medical Innovation Development and Assessment Support (MIDAS) research unit, focusing on early health technology assessment (early HTA).
His research focuses on early HTA and health innovation development. He is currently developing theoretical frameworks to understand how early HTA can impact health innovation ecosystem. Under MIDAS, his team examines the health innovation landscape in Thailand, identifies health innovation priorities, and support medical innovators for product development. The team also conducts workshops and trainings to raise awareness for early HTA and build capacity in this area.
