Professor Dr Hasan Hüseyin Yildirim

Professor Dr Hasan Hüseyin Yıldırım is a health policy expert with over 25 years of experience spanning academia, government advisory boards, and healthcare institutions. His expertise includes health systems analysis, policy formulation, health economics, and evidence-based reforms. Hasan is a Professor at the Health Sciences University Gulhane Faculty of Health Sciences in the Department of Healthcare Management. He has published over 150 peer-reviewed articles, books, and reports on critical issues in health policy and administration.

Hasan’s recent work involves providing strategic guidance and technical support to governmental bodies on health reforms and innovation initiatives in Türkiye. He is a member of the G20 Global Innovation Hub for Improving Value in Health Steering Committee. Hasan previously served as the Founding Director of the Türkiye Health Policy Institute, advising the Turkish Parliament and Presidency Health Board. He also founded and directed the EU Health Research Centre at Hacettepe Teknokent and held advisory roles in international health research centers.
