OHE currently has openings for two well qualified, highly motivated and energetic economists.
One post would suit applicants with strong skills and interest in outcomes measurement, valuation of health states and quantitative approaches to health economics. The other post requires thorough knowledge of the economics of industrial organisation, competition and regulation. Both will contribute to all three of the OHE’s core activities: peer-reviewed research, consultancy, and advising the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry.
Applicants should have:
- a good first degree, majoring in economics
- a postgraduate qualification and practical experience in applied econometrics or/and industrial economics
- interest in, and understanding of, policy related to health care systems and/or the life sciences sector
- demonstrable ability to research, write and present clearly argued analyses within tight deadlines.
Salary range: £30,000-£45,000, depending on skills and qualifications.
