This year’s £40,000 OHE Innovation Policy Prize was jointly awarded to Professor Andrew Briggs and Professor Thomas Pogge.
Participants were asked to focus on the intersection of climate change and health in answering this year’s policy question:
“How can economic policies incentivise environmentally sustainable innovation in the life sciences sector?”
Professor Pogge’s was awarded the prize for his submission Promoting Greenovations for Low-Income Countries: An Ecological Impact Fund and Professor Briggs for From Delaware to California: A Road Map For Incentivising Environmentally Sustainable Innovation’.

The winners will be awarded at a prize ceremony on 28 January 2025. Registrations for the event are now open.
