Professor Nancy Devlin, who recently took up a new role at the University of Melbourne, has been given an honorary appointment at OHE as a Senior Visiting Fellow.
Nancy was OHE’s Director of Research for 10 years. We are delighted that she will have an honorary affiliation with OHE, so that we can continue to benefit from her expertise on research topics such as the measurement and valuation of patient-reported outcomes; the cost-effectiveness thresholds used in making judgements about value for money; and priority-setting in health care. Nancy continues to work closely with OHE on a variety of ongoing projects. These include:
She is also the lead author of a recently published OHE Research Paper examining how patient-reported outcomes can be compared and aggregated between people and settings.
Nancy is now based in Australia, where she is Professor of Health Economics and Director of the Centre for Health Policy in the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health. She is also President-Elect of the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR), and will shortly move into the role of President for the 2019-2020 term.
