The Office of Health Economics (“OHE”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.
OHE’s privacy policy sets out the way in which OHE processes personal data collected from customers using the website to purchase OHE publications, sign up to receive the OHE e-newsletter or register to use the OHE Knowledge Centre. Any personal data collected by OHE is processed in accordance with data protection legislation. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.
For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 (the Act), the data controller is the Office of Health Economics a division of the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Society of 12 Whitehall,London,SW1A 2DY.

To enable you to purchase OHE publications, sign up to receive the OHE e-newsletter or register to use the OHE Knowledge Centre, we ask you to provide us with information. This includes any or all of the following: your name, position, home address, business address, email address, telephone or fax number. This information will be processed by OHE and used in the following ways- To process orders placed with the OHE for its publications;
- To send you information about marketing, advertising and promotions and to notify you of events, workshops and training sessions which we believe may be of interest to you. If you would prefer not to receive this information please email OHE at ohegeneral@ohe.org
- If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
- The OHE may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.
- To process orders placed with the OHE for its publications;
- Sharing the data we collect
Processing personal data for the above purposes may entail sharing the information with employees, contractors, agents and professional advisers of OHE. The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff may be engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. OHE will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.
If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms of use or terms and conditions of supply and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of OHE our customers, or others we may disclose your personal information to third parties. Other than in the circumstances set out above OHE does not sell personal information or share personal information with third parties unrelated to it.

All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers, files or paper files (e.g. files of faxed orders).
Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Athough we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk.
