Job Vacancy "OHE Business Manager"
The Office of Health Economics (OHE) wishes to appoint a business manager who, working with the management team will develop and implement the OHE strategy and five year business plan. In particular he/she:
• raise the profile and build the brand of OHE, through marketing, business development and networking activities among all its key target audiences
• ensure the OHE’s interface with all stakeholders are professional and well managed, particularly consulting clients, researchers, the ABPI and the OHE’s Policy Board and Management Committee
• manage the continuous improvement of the internal efficiency of the OHE, with the assistance of the business administrator/projects manager
Applicants must have:
• a good university degree in management or marketing
• experience of working with and successfully persuading senior management on business related issues
• marketing / communications / public and government relations experience within the pharmaceutical, health care and/or life sciences arena
• experience of business planning and implementation
The ability to write and present well, work within tight deadlines, whilst working confidently as part of a small, close-knit team is essential.
The OHE is an economic research and consultancy organisation located in central London, focusing on the economics and policy of: the pharmaceutical industry; health care systems; and the evaluation of medicines and other health technologies. It is funded by the ABPI and by OHE consulting revenues.
