New **** OHE Blog ****
On March 23rd, OHE launched a blog, OHE News, to help ensure that the critical ideas we examine and develop reach the world in a timely manner. The blog will concentrate at least initially on two sets of issues. The first are policy issues likely to remain at the forefront of debates in the UK for some time to come: competition in the NHS; health technology assessment, particularly within NICE; and measuring patient outcomes and using the results. The second set of issues specifically involves the biopharmaceutical industries and is global in impact: health technology assessment and risk sharing, biosimilars, and the value of innovation. Posts scheduled for the next two weeks will focus on competition in the NHS and patient-reported outcome measures.
