Priya has recently joined the OHE. Prior to joining, she worked as in intern at the Center for Global Development in Washington, DC, where her research focused primarily on exploring the potential of open source drug discovery (OSDD) to help combat drug resistance in developing countries. At the London School of Economics she researched and analysed the potential of various push and pull mechanisms to incentivize pharmaceutical R&D for novel antibiotics. Priya also spent two years at the RAND Corporation as a research assistant. During her time at RAND, Priya worked on range of projects including evaluating mental health interventions for children exposed to trauma and the cost impact of improved adherence to asthma medication.

 

Priya has a BA in Economics and Community Health from Tufts University, and recently completed an MSc in International Health Policy (Health Economics) from the London School of Economics.
