Karen joined the OHE in April 2007. Prior to joining the OHE, she acted as lead consultant for the Intelligent Consulting Services. Her projects included the design of complex programmes for regulatory compliance of healthcare clinics; the lead of change management programmes to build up effective healthcare team services, cost reduction, and service delivery; and the provision of on site training to assist with the dissemination, interpretation and application of policies and procedures. For the 5 years prior to that, Karen was Chief Executive at The London Iryo Centre, a private medical clinic. There, Karen provided leadership, strategic direction, and introduced initiatives such as, Health Management Advice, and mobile health screening services.

 

Karen began her commercial experience as a Research Manager at Sony Corporation. Her subsequent years was spent as Project Manager for Procter & Gamble where she delivered new brands into the global market.

 

Karen holds an MBA from Warwick Business School, a doctorate in organic chemistry, and a bachelor degree in chemistry from University College London.
